What happens when I click Download?

Your browser downloads macOS RJ.dmg, a disk image of approximately 39.7 MiB. You decide whether to open and install it. No scan, installation or purchase happens automatically.

Can you guarantee that my files will come back?

No. Recovery depends on the drive's condition and whether usable data remains. Overwritten data and physical damage can prevent recovery. Minimize new writes to the affected drive and save recovered files to separate storage where possible.

Do I have to use cloud storage?

No. Local recovery and backups work independently of cloud storage and do not require a paid plan or cloud account. Free includes an optional 5 GB encrypted cloud allowance, which needs an account only if you choose to use it.

What about wallet application files?

The app can look for existing wallet application files on drives you own when readable data remains. It does not unlock hardware wallets, recreate missing secrets or guarantee access to funds. Never email passwords, recovery credentials or private keys to support.

Will the current build work on my Mac?

Email [email protected] with your Mac model and macOS version to confirm compatibility before installing. If installation is blocked or a permission request is unclear, contact support before proceeding.

How are monthly and annual plans billed?

Pro is $29 for a monthly term or $300 for an annual term. Business is $59 for a monthly term or $588 for an annual term. The annual amount is paid for the full year; the monthly equivalent is only a comparison. Ask support for the applicable renewal, cancellation and payment terms before purchasing.

How do I remove the application?

Quit macOS RJ before removing it. For removal instructions for your build, associated app data or closing a cloud account, contact [email protected].

About macOS RJ

macOS RJ is the product brand presented at macosrj-app.com. The downloadable Mac application provides file recovery and local backup, with optional encrypted cloud storage.

What the product does

Use the application to look for recoverable files on drives you own or are authorized to access and to create backups. Wallet-file recovery concerns existing wallet application files and backups; it does not recreate missing recovery phrases, unlock hardware wallets, or grant access to another person's funds.

Recovery depends on what data remains readable on the drive. No successful recovery result is guaranteed. For a drive that is physically failing, stop using it and seek appropriate hardware assistance.

Privacy Policy

Updated October 5, 2026. This policy explains the data involved in visiting macosrj-app.com, contacting macOS RJ, and using local recovery, backup, or optional cloud features. Visiting the website and installing the application are separate actions.

Website requests

When your browser requests a page, image, or download, the hosting and delivery infrastructure receives technical information needed to handle the request. This can include your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information, and a referring URL if your browser sends one. Request records can be used to deliver content, diagnose faults, and protect the website from misuse.

The current website does not include an account-registration form, newsletter-subscription form, job-application form, or payment-card form. Its own code does not add advertising trackers or nonessential cookies or browser-storage entries. Delivery and security infrastructure may still process technical information or use necessary security cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

Email correspondence

If you email [email protected], your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send are part of that correspondence. Use only information needed to explain the question. A purchase or refund enquiry may need the email used for the purchase and a receipt or transaction reference.

Do not email passwords, wallet recovery phrases, private keys, full payment-card information, or unredacted sensitive documents. Remove private information from screenshots and diagnostics before sending them.

Local recovery and backup

The application needs access to the files and drives you choose to scan, recover from, or back up. Access is subject to the permissions you grant in macOS. Only scan data you own or have permission to access. Choosing a local recovery or local-backup destination is separate from choosing cloud storage.

Ordinary browsing of this website does not upload the contents of your Mac's drives or perform a recovery scan. Downloading a DMG also does not install or run the application; you decide whether to open and install it.

Optional encrypted cloud storage

Cloud storage is optional. When you select files for cloud backup in the application, their content is uploaded as encrypted payloads. Cloud use also involves the technical connection information needed to transmit and store data and the account or subscription information used for the selected plan.

Check the application settings and the plan information before enabling cloud storage. Encryption is not a substitute for protecting your device, account credentials, and recovery material. Do not assume that a locally recovered file has been backed up until you have checked the selected destination and completed backup.

Your choices and enquiries

You choose whether to download and install the application, which local drives to authorize, whether to use cloud storage, and what to send in an email. You can manage permissions in macOS and cookies or cached website files in your browser.

Website and download

The website provides product information, a Mac application download, and email contact details. Selecting the download link downloads a DMG file. It does not automatically install the application, start a scan, create an account, or buy a subscription.

You decide whether to open the downloaded file and install the application. Read the installer information and permission requests before proceeding. Any additional license terms provided with a particular build should be reviewed before using that build.

Authorized use and recovery limits

Use recovery and backup features only on files, accounts, and drives that you own or have permission to access. Do not use the website or application for unauthorized access, to interfere with another person's data, or to misuse the delivery or cloud infrastructure.

Recovery depends on the condition of the drive and whether recoverable data remains. Data that has been overwritten, erased beyond recovery, or lost with failed hardware may not be recoverable. Recovery of a wallet application file does not guarantee access to a wallet or its funds and does not replace a missing recovery phrase or private key.

Keep a separate backup of important information where possible and choose a suitable recovery destination. macOS RJ does not promise a particular number of recovered files, a recovery success rate, or immunity from data loss.

Plans and advertised prices

Prices shown are in USD. Free costs $0 and includes local recovery and backup with an optional 5 GB cloud allowance. Pro is $29 when billed monthly or $300 when billed annually; the annual price is equivalent to $25 per month. Business is $59 when billed monthly or $588 when billed annually; the annual price is equivalent to $49 per month. Pro includes 50 GB and Business includes 100 GB of encrypted cloud storage.

The annual monthly equivalent is a comparison figure, not a monthly charge under an annual plan. Contact [email protected] for a purchase enquiry. The current website does not contain an online checkout.

Before any purchase, the applicable total payment, billing period, taxes if applicable, renewal arrangements, and cancellation terms must be provided for review. This page does not itself authorize a payment or recurring charge. A future price change does not change the amount of a payment already agreed.

Subscription and cancellation enquiries

For an existing paid subscription, contact [email protected] with the account email and a purchase reference to ask about its billing status or cancellation. The cancellation and renewal conditions applicable to that purchase are those disclosed when it was made; this page does not introduce an automatic-renewal commitment.

15-day refund requests

If you purchase a paid macOS RJ subscription and are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 15 days of the payment date. Email [email protected] with the email used for the purchase and a receipt or transaction reference. Do not send payment-card details.

Eligible refunds apply to the paid charge for that subscription period. After 15 days, charges are generally non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Free use does not require a payment and has no paid charge to refund. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

Product information and third-party names

Product information describes the features offered; actual recovery results depend on your data and device. Third-party product and trademark references are descriptive and do not imply that those owners endorse or provide macOS RJ.

No guaranteed recovery

Recoverability depends on the drive's condition, what data remains, and subsequent writes. Deleted or damaged files may be partly recoverable or not recoverable at all. No recovery success rate, complete restoration, or protection against all data loss is promised.

Drive condition and backups

Minimize new writes to a drive from which you want to recover deleted files. Recover files to a suitable separate destination where possible. If a drive shows signs of physical failure, stop using it and obtain appropriate hardware assistance. Software does not repair failed storage hardware.

Wallet files and sensitive data

Wallet-file recovery searches for existing application files or backups on storage you are authorized to access. It does not recreate secrets that no longer exist, bypass wallet authentication, or guarantee access to cryptocurrency. Never send recovery phrases, private keys, or passwords in a support email or enter them into this website.

Installation and optional features

A DMG download is separate from installation. Review the file and installer information and the macOS permissions requested before use. Cloud storage is an optional feature; check the selected destination and backup status before relying on a backup.
